The Harvard Banjo Club was founded in 1886 as an undergraduate student organization. Until 1918, the Banjo Club, along with the Glee Club and the Mandolin Club, were under one management and were known as the Harvard Musical Clubs. As a result of the 1918 agreement, each club became its own separate identity; the Banjo and Mandolin Clubs were incorporated into the Instrumental Clubs....
